Recipe for a Delicious Strawberry Smoothie

Stawberry Smoothie


  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk (you can use dairy or non-dairy milk)
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness preference)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for a colder smoothie)


  1. Prepare the Strawberries: Wash the strawberries thoroughly, remove the stems (hulls), and chop them into smaller pieces.
  2. Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine the chopped strawberries, sliced banana, Greek yogurt, milk, and honey or maple syrup (if using). If you want a colder smoothie, add a handful of ice cubes as well.
  3. Blend Until Smooth: Blend everything until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender with a spatula to ensure all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Taste and Adjust: Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup if needed.
  5. Serve: Pour the strawberry smoothie into glasses and serve immediately. You can optionally garnish with a few sliced strawberries on top.


  • For a thicker smoothie, use frozen strawberries or add more banana.
  • Adjust the consistency by adding more milk if it’s too thick or more yogurt if it’s too thin.
  • You can customize this smoothie by adding a handful of spinach or kale for extra nutrition without affecting the flavor much.
